I have been teaching in an elementary school setting for five years. I am a teacher who loves to find the best in children. I am able to easily adapt my teaching style to the learning styles of the children in my class. I love teaching all subjects, but my passion is in the teaching of reading. I have attended two week long workshops at Columbia University to hone my skills in teaching reading. I am also an excellent math teacher and am able to explain math concepts in a variety of different ways in order to connect with your child. I prefer to work in your home as it is usually the most comfortable place for the child, but I will also work in a library setting.
